January 6, 2003. . . (Lafayette, Indiana)  Schwab Corp., an Indiana company, is pleased to announce that the Company has been acquired by two private investors, Donald J. Ehrlich and Steven W. Norfleet of Lafayette, Indiana.

     Commenting on the acquisition, Schwab President Jerry Ehrlich stated, �We have re-capitalized the Company to allow it to embark on a new period of growth.  We will focus our efforts on new product development, increasing the performance of on-time delivery, and making changes in the manufacturing process to incorporate more contemporary machines and procedures.  We are very excited about the future of the Company and look forward to combining new ideas with a very experienced and devoted workforce.�

     Schwab Corp. was founded in 1872 in Lafayette, Indiana and continues to be a leader in the field of secure storage of documents and valuables.  The Company�s headquarters are in Lafayette, Indiana with its manufacturing plant in Cannelton, Indiana.
